Buy a Brick Scheme for Chinnor Community Pavilion
The Community Pavilion opened in February 2016 and provides an excellent location in the village for both social and sporting events. This new facility was paid for with funding obtained from grants and local residents and prior to the opening we raised additional funds for items like the tables and chairs, the TV and sound system by setting-up a “Buy-a-Brick” scheme. Many of you responded to the scheme and those donations helped to furnish the interior with the all important finishing touches. Your brick slips have been fixed to an interior wall on permanent display and we hope they meet with your approval.
Eighteen months on and we have decided to re-launch the “Buy-a-Brick” scheme to raise funds for additional fixtures and fittings. Bricks are priced to suit all budgets from £50 upwards and in return for your generous donation your name, or it could be your child’s or grandchild’s or any other name, will be engraved on a brick slip that will be prominently displayed within the building. Local companies are also welcome to donate and your company name would become a permanent part of the display showing your generosity to future generations.
The brick slips are produced in clay with coloured engraving over 2 lines with a maximum of 16 characters per line including spaces. You can see the display of bricks in the pavilion if you would like to reassure yourself of their quality. If you decide you would like to name a brick to support our fundraising we will need the details shown below. Please let us know whether you would like to pay by cheque, direct bank transfer or by Paypal.
